BlogFive and a half years, and 100,000 submissions after VirtualGlobetrotting opened its doors, we’re bringing you back to the roots of internet satellite imagery with a scavenger hunt focused entirely on the company that energized the industry — Google Maps Satellite imagery.
All valid submissions must be straight Google Maps Satellite imagery. No Bing, Yahoo, Birds Eye, Street View or 45 degree imagery.

The hunt starts on Friday November 26 at 9am PST, and will last 10 days until Sunday December 5 at 9pm PST.
The total points you can find for this hunt is 129 (the biggest we’ve ever put on!). The user with the most points at the end of the hunt wins!

If there is a tie for first place, the the first person to get the points takes first place, and the others are ordered by the time they finished their last submission.
