Trying to submit map of Fresno Pacific University
Using this url:
http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=36.755769,-119.697944&spn=0.007102,0.009924&t=k&hl=en
Get the error message "Map URL already exists in database!"
What am I doing wrong?

The URL isn't of the University. It is of some tank farm or industrial site to the SE if the university.
Did you submit another map with a tank farm? Be sure to click the "link to this page" link in the upper right corner of the google maps page to update the URL in tour browser address bar before you cut and paste the address. When I get that warning message I have almost always forgotten to u[pdate the URL with the "link to this page" link.

You were right, I started with the tank farm.
Google did not update the URL as I navigated to the University.
Clicking on "Link to this page" updated the URL and I successfully submitted.
