Strange things in Google Street View

This is odd. The street view car entered this stadium parking lot and proceeded to take images up and down every row of the parking lot even though there was nothing going on in the parking lot to photograph.

Are these imaging contractors paid by the mile?

I noticed the same thing across the street from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
