Hey, I'm wondering where is the earliest Street View image exactly located; the oldest I found were from May 2007 on California's Highway 5 and 405, with also a road in the Bakersfield area. I've heard that the first images using Google's cameras were taken anywhere from January to April 2007, but I have yet to see any image any earlier, so is anyone aware of any imagery around that time or earlier elsewhere?

Also, if anyone is aware of any area in other state besides CA, MN, WI, IL, MI, and OH with imagery dating from June 2007 or earlier, I'd greatly appreciate that. After all, the U.S. is a huge country with literally millions of Street View images! Thanks.

Wikipedia has a complete timeline of all Google Street View imagery.

The first imagery was released to the public on Friday, May 25, 2007 in San Francisco, Las Vegas, Denver, Miami, and New York City.

Here's the earliest imagery I found for all of these cities:

San Francisco: July 2007 (June 2007 in surrounding areas)
Las Vegas: September 2007
Denver: August 2007
Miami: October 2007
New York City: August 2007

The images as seen back in May 2007 were when Google had its Immersive Media cameras and are most likely gone by now, yet they had better quality than the first cameras that were Google's own. What I'm talking about isn't Immersive Media; I'm talking about with Google's original cameras.

There may be somewhere in the U.S. with early street view images, but I don't know exactly where (i.e., what street is that image at); that's why I'm wondering if anyone is aware of such imagery that they had seen.

Apparently, Google only used Immersive Media outside the SF Bay area according to this article: https://www.cnet.com/news/the-camera-behind-googles-street-view/

Perhaps a good place to start looking is near Googleplex in silicon valley.

I found this one which may be an example of the imagery you are looking for. https://goo.gl/maps/UwQQX6hvWnF2

This is the oldest I found:

Then put the URL of Google Maps; I can't put links yet so this is the only way I can pinpoint an exact location currently.
