It's been a while since we've had a game, such as a Hunt or a Safari:

It's about time we have one; it's been three years since either one's been held and I'm only new here, yet I already see interest in hunts/safaris after years of exploring areas with street view prior to my registration!

...how we rarely see anyone online definitely means that we've definitely waned in popularity ever since the last hunt/safari. Maybe we'll attract more if we set up another one, I guess? After all, such event's long overdue.

Alright, after direct messaging some users, I've got 9 people (excluding me of course) who are interested in having a new one, so this way, there is enough buzz generated to warrant another one. Let's do a variety themed one since we haven't had any in a long time, shall we?

So, one last question:
To have a capture submitted, is using historical street view imagery allowable (e.g., using imagery from November 2008 where the most recent image is from June 2016) or does it have to be the most recent image of the exact location? Thanks.

Continuation from above because I can't edit:
Even though the Safari mentions "American College Football", you said on the blog any capture of anyone playing American football (or gridiron), regardless whether it's in a college (or involving college teams) or not, is allowable. If so, in my opinion, you'd might as well simply call it "American Football" considering what is actually allowed in this safari.
Also, and suppose you run across an image of a fictional character (e.g., Snoopy) playing the sport on SV, is this allowable too?

@Carrera: Good questions! Street View imagery should be whatever is current, i.e. what you would see if you opened Google to that location today.
While the theme is American College Football (since it's nearing the end of its season), anyone playing at any level is fine!
A fictional character playing football would be great as well

Nic, your definition of a week really is weird, isn't it?
I promise that the on day I become moderator, I'll ensure that this place has a safari every week, with a scavenger hunt once in a while!
