"Man on camel" and nearby "Men at a well in desert" show me that I should be using GEarth a lot more (when I can, grr @ Google and poor linux support). That level of res is just plain creepy, yet fascinating. I guess Big Brother Is Us.

Oh. I guess those images were <a href=http://www.gearthblog.com/blog/archives/2005/09/500_national_ge.html>taken from Megaflyover</a>, a project by <a href=http://www7.nationalgeographic.com/ngm/megaflyover/>National Geographic</a>, which included photos taken from a Cessna. Which would also explain why people are looking up at the camera.
