I'm in Biloxi MS for five weeks, and WOW, you would think over a year since Katrina would mean a lot has changed since the post-Katrina Google sat pics. But a lot of the damage is still there, and in a lot of ways reminds me of Mid-East war zones. Of course they have pushed a lot of the sand off the roads, but there are still blown-over / collapsed / burned-out buildings everywhere. And the FEMA trailer parks are everywhere and VERY SCARRY. Katrina actually hit land closer to Gulfport / Biloxi than the more famous New Orleans.
I'll be adding a few thumbs with ground pics this weekend, and a few from Keesler Air Force Base where I am doing a little work for few weeks.
