Just FYI. Moderators are currently discussing if/how to handle moon links. Until a descision is made, moon submissions wil remain unapproved in the queue. This is not to encourage/discourage moon map submissions, just to let people know why they may hang in the approval queue for a while longer.

Moon maps are now being accepted. They have their own category and their own "Country", "Moon - XX".

A question for romulusnr.
Given there's no Link Here button on the moon interface, how did you generate the links for the maps you submitted?

You might want to disable the Google Earth link for Google Moon posts...

There's still a Google Earth button/link at the top of the following pages:
http://googleglobetrotting.com/show.php/t/country/country/XX
and
http://googleglobetrotting.com/show.php/t/cat/cat/158
Would there be an (easy) way to supress moon entries from the KML feeds from Earth-based categories? That would make it possible to include moon submissions in the Natural>Craters category, among others... but then perhaps a decision was made amongst the moderators not to include not to intermingle the Earth and non-Earth maps?

We decided to put all moon entries in Moon / Moon until such time as there are so many moon entries that they need to be broken up. Moon entries have almost dried up so I don't see us breaking them up anytime soon. If we did break them up we'd still keep them in seperate moon categories.
