I think that users should be able to update and edit the maps that they have submitted, and that there should be a view total for all the maps submitted by a user somewhere.

This is found by clicking the "Stats" link at the top of the page and choosing "Users: Map Views".

If you want one of your maps updated, just put the info you want changed or added plus any instructions in a comment and one of the moderators will update it.
For a list of all your maps just click on your user name on the user list or on any of your maps. That will take you here: http://virtualglobetrotting.com/user/Champion3/
Now click on the "Maps" tab and voila!
