An MIT Grad student has created Globe Genie which transports you to a random spot somewhere across the world. Just push the Teleport button and enjoy the ride.
If you find something you want to submit, the Permalink gives you the coordinates.

It no longer works. However, there are quite a few random location generators for Street View as well.
