This may be a dumb question, but when submitting a map, is there a way to submit multiple links at once instead of posting one with the map and then going in afterward to the 'add link' button?

Yes! You can enter multiple links in the submit form. One link per line. Paste first link - hit enter - paste second link - hit enter, etc.
