Site downtime today

Hi everyone,

I apologize for the sparrodic time today where the site was unreachable or horribly slow.

We're currently under a DDOS (distributed denial of service) attack. I've been able to find what they're doing to slow the site down and have taken steps to stop it. Only time will tell if this will work. I have no idea why they are targetting the site (it appears more of a break-in attempt than a DOS), or who they are. The IP addresses are from all over the world, so it is likely a botnet.

I will keep you posted.
