Sportin' a New Look

Three and a half years after Virtual Globetrotting first said "Hello, World", we decided to clean things up a bit and get a fresh haircut.
The entire site has been scrutinized and updated to increase consistency, usability and navigation. The search box is smarter and incorporates Google Search as backup. Several pages have been optimized and sped-up. The map submission form has some JavaScript tricks up its sleeves to make submissions easier and more accurate.
Most importantly, we feel the site looks crisper and more refined. Maybe not Web 2.0 but at least Web 1.9.

After working through every method I knew yesterday morning while attempting to submit a map and cursing you under my breath, I should have known something was up.

Nice with new look, Only dowmside is when clicking on My Maps I get directed to Removed maps. I rater like to be directed to "My Maps" like before.
Removed maps are not that important so it must come up first.
Keep up the good work.

When you get to your "My Maps" page, click the big "Accepted Maps" button (above your "Removed Maps" area), and that will take you right to all your submissions, in the order of most viewed.

Yes I know, but why not have "Acceped maps" first. Removed maps are not very interesting to go to. Removed maps are for information only.
Fix it so Accapted Maps are directly linked from My Maps on the start page.

The big ACCEPTED MAPS button is first when you go to your My Maps page. It's right at the very top. The "Removed Maps" are below it. I'm not sure what you issue is.

I think he wants "My Maps" to link directly to his Accepted Maps only.

You can do what I do, and bookmark the page showing my maps, which in your case would be: http://virtualglobetrotting.com/user/alfjon/maps/
or to show your latest maps:
http://virtualglobetrotting.com/user/alfjon/maps/0/?v=0&f=0&so=1

I have a bookmark I created and then dragged up to my Bookmark Toolbar that lists all my recent posts with the most recent first. I like the list mode better for this because I can see # of views at a quick glance.

If I were to make the "My Maps" link go directly to your approved maps, do you have a suggestion on where I can put the rejected maps?
