Richard E. Grodin, a former hedge fund trader at SAC Capital, and 6'6 235 lb. basketball enthusiast lives here. In 2008, Grodin launched another hedge fund, called Quadrum, that focused on the energy and technology sectors and was slated to start with $150 million. The fund closed in recent weeks, according to the WSJ. He is 40 years old.

Loevner joins Epocrates well respected from Silicon Valley to Wall Street, having been CEO at three successful Internet companies, most recently Pinnacor, Inc. (NASDAQ: PCOR) formerly Screaming Media, a financial services technology company he is credited with turning around and subsequently sold earlier this year to CBS MarketWatch.

Prior to Pinnacor, Loevner founded PublishOne Inc., a publishing service that allowed business information and publishing companies to securely sell and distribute information online. In early 2001, Loevner sold PublishOne to InterTrust Technologies, a digital rights management company. Previously, he was CEO of Internet Shopping Network where he conceived and developed First Auction, the first real-time auction site on the Internet.
Kirk Loevner lives here. He is CEO of Epocrates, a software company.
