1851. Active; focal plane 220 m (722 ft); three white flashes every 20 s. 10 m (33 ft) round cylindrical tower with lantern and gallery, rising from a compact keeper's house complex. Lighthouse painted white. This lighthouse is perched atop a giant rock, similar to the Rock of Gibraltar, where the Grande Kabylie range of the Atlas Mountains comes down to the sea.
