Qaddafi's compound lies just to the south, about hlafway to the next roundabout. The 'Landscaping' that you see is simply grass and interlocking bricks. It took them ages to do it. That nifty building just to the NW is pyramid shaped. It is the Centre to Research into the Green Book (or something like that) and there is an exact, identical building in Benghazi. |
