This is incredible. How did you find this spot? It is so small it is almost impossible to find by random search. Or did you know it was there? |

I found the "Man on a Camel" posted at Google Earth Hacks. A discussion about the post mentions that it is part of the National Geographic Layer. Enable that layer in Google Earth and there will be a sprinkling of a few hundred little red airplane icons. These mark itty-bitty high res areas like this one. I've been poking around in them all day. Lots of animals and villages. Most of them are just deserts and dunes though. I had been saving them up to post all at once but your conveyor was one of them so I've started posting the ones I liked the most. |
