Karen Walker is a fictional character on the American television sitcom Will & Grace, portrayed by Megan Mullally. In the show, Karen says her rival Marlo Thomas and Phil Donahue live in her building, but never actually appear in the series.
930 Fifth Avenue is a luxury apartment building on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. The eighteen-story structure and penthouse was designed by noted architect Emery Roth and built in 1940.
Residents of the building have included Samuel and Bella Spewack, Patrick Dennis, Cornelius Vander Starr, Risë Stevens, Nancy Hanks, Woody Allen, and Eldridge Haynes.

930 Fifth Ave was not the building used for exterior shots of Karen's penthouse. The correct building is 778 Park Avenue on the northwest corner of 73rd Street.
