Description: One of Doncasters most architecturally important biuldings, St Georges Minster is an impressive Victorian structure built architect, Sir George Gilbert Scott in 1858. It replaced a 12th century Norman building that burnt down on the last day of February 1853. It was described by Sir John Betjeman as "Victorian Gothic at its very best".
