Markus Persson's House

Markus Persson, also known as "Notch", is the former owner of video game outfit Mojang, which he sold to Microsoft for $2.5 billion. He paid $70M for this house in December 2014 - this represents the highest amount ever paid for a house in Beverly Hills.

The 23,000 square foot mega-mansion was designed and built by Bruce Makowsky & Kathy Van Zeeland, best-known for their QVC fashion empire, which they reportedly sold to a Chinese conglomerate for over $300 million.
