Description: Opened in 1967, this drive-in closed in 1991 and now operates (still under the auspices of Metropolitan Theatres) as the Santa Barbara Metropolitan Swap Meet, every Sunday at 7 a.m. The lease on the land runs out in 2008 or so, at which point a beautiful new crop of mini-malls may sprout forth.
