The Kennedy Homestead, ancestral home of the Kennedy clan (StreetView)
This was the home of James Kennedy, Great-Great-Grandfather of US President J. F. Kennedy.

James Kennedy's son, Patrick Kennedy, was born here around 1823. 1849 he left the place and immigrated to Boston, Massachusetts. He died there November 22, 1858.

In 1963, President Kennedy visited the place.

The house beside the Homestead is still owned by Kennedy relatives.

Passenger list of the ship "Washington Irving" which Patrick Kennedy sailed to Boston in 1849. He has the passenger number 199. there is also a picture of the ship.
