Fort Monckton was constructed in the 1780s. In the 1860 it was considered to be out of date and was used for barracks and in the WW2 it held an anti-aircraft unit. Fort Monckton is currently serving as SIS (Secret Intelligence Service) Training Centre so it is not accessible to public.
