Description: The Dublin Bay power plant is a modern, highly efficient, 400 MW single-shaft, gas-powered generation station with the latest GT26 turbine and compressor design package. The power plant is located at Ringsend, beside the River Liffey, in Dublin. Plant output is equal to about 9% of peak demand in Ireland. Gas to power the station is supplied by Statoil. The station was fully commissioned in May 2002 and is now operating at full capacity and selling electricity successfully into the market.
