Description:

Earth Centre: an International Centre for Sustainable Development and Living was built on a derelict site left behind by closed mine pits. It first opened in 1999 and after some redevelopment was reopened in 2001 but there were not enough visitors to keep the centre going and at the end of 2004 it was closed.
