Teavana co-founder, Andrew Mack, paid $42.5M for this estate, named Playa Vista Isle (formerly Le Palais Royale) at auction.

Mack sold Teavana to Starbucks for $629M in 2012.

Robert Pereira the founder of Littleton, Mass.-based developer Middlesex Corp., which also has offices in Orlando., built this estate.

After spending $10.5M to purchase the property in 2001, Pereira reportedly has received a $30M re-development loan to build his new home on the property.
