The National Horseshoe Pitchers Association (NHPA) is the governing body of the sport of horseshoe pitching in the United States. The NHPA began annually inducting members to their Hall of Fame in 1965. The Hall of Fame members are honored in this museum, which opened on October 5, 2007. There are indoor and outdoor horseshoe courts at the museum.

On a trip to Kansas last week, I came across an impressive horseshoe club's site. After spending a few days in flyover country, I can believe how something like horseshoes is a serious activity there. The NHPA has a big world tournament at a different city each year.
