Massive Deadly Mud Slide - 22 March, 2014

There was a massive deadly slide between Arlington and Darrington Washington 0n 22 March, 2014.

But there is little wonder or puzzle as to why it happened, just have a look at the sat image.

The outline of the slide almost exactly matches the outline of the clear-cut, and along the boundary of the clear-cut, you can see obvious erosion.
