Description: Former border stations between Federal Republic of Germany (BRD) and German Democratic Republic (DDR) on autobahn to Berlin. They seem still to have some use as truckstops as there are quite many heavy trucks parked around. The station on the BRD side was known as Checkpoint Alpha.
