The Dodge Daytona was a sport compact that was produced from 1983 to 1993. The 1987 model year marked a restyle for the car, in which it had been given pop-up headlamps. After Lamborghini's aquisitation by Chrysler, there was a proposal to fit a Jalpa V8 into the Daytona and name the product "Decepzione", but it never went into production.
