2001 Pontiac Aztek

The Pontiac Aztek, a mid-size crossover SUV, was produced from July 2000 to August 2005 at General Motors's Ramos Arizpe assembly plant in Coahuila, Mexico. A commercial failure, it gained notoriety for being one of the "worst" and "ugliest" automobiles ever produced. Tom Peters, the Aztek's original designer, would eventually go on and design the C7 Corvette that is currently in production. The SUV also came with an optional camping tent that could be set up over the car's kammback rear, and the 2001 model year was the only model year in which plastic trim adorned the sides of it. The Aztek has also seen a resurgence of interest as the car driven by Walter White of Breaking Bad.
