The Madara Rider

The Madara Rider or Madara Horseman is a 7th-8th century rock relief in northwest Bulgaria. The horseman is 75 feet above ground and is thrusting a spear into a lion lying at the horse's feet.

The site was listed on UNESCO World Heritage List in 1979.
