This 80 feet tall Norway spruce tree was chosen to be displayed as the official Christmas Tree in New York's Rockefeller Center in 2012. It was donated by Joe Balku. Two weeks after the tree was chosen for the honor, Hurricane Sandy blew through the area. Two other trees on the property fell during the storm, but this one stood strong.
