Seems to only refer to the east facility. No idea what the west facility is.

Arthur Gorrie Correctional Centre is a prison located on the Ipswich motorway at Wacol in the western suburbs of Brisbane, Australia. It is a maximum security prison that is used for remand prisoners, and also for the temporary detention of prisoners while their 'security level' is ascertained.

The prison is a relatively modern facility with TVs, showers and toilets in all rooms and shared dining facilities.

The Arthur Gorrie Correctional Centre is the second of Queenslands Privately Operated non-government Prisons sharing that notation with Borallon Correctional Centre operated for the Department by Management and Training Corporation located in Ivan Lane Borallon near Ipswich.

The above picture is not Arthur Gorrie Correctional Centre. The picture is Brisbane Womens Correctional Centre. The facility referred to as the West wing is one of the high security men's prisons in Queensland called Wolston Correctional Centre. Both prisons share a common visitors entrance area. If you scroll across to the right in google earth you will see two other prisons. The first quite large centre is Brisbane Correctional Centre (formerly Sir David Longlands) and the second next to the main highway is actually Arthur Gorrie.

This is not an Image of the AGCC. The Gorie east of this image as we look at, first you have to cross the BCC and then you will view the AGCC. This image is of Walston CC and Brisbanes Womens CC.
