That's quite true. If I remember correctly, westward from here, towards the big stadium and sports complex, there are several visible inground swimming pools... I've seen almost all of Algiers, plus eastward over to the nearby peninsula, and this area here is the only one in the whole city, of I don't know how many millions of people, to have swimming pools. The homes aren't all as big as this one but to have a nice pool in the backyard, that's still luxurious... to even have a yard is in itself luxurious! |
