If you look a little closer you will note that the vehicles are sand blown onto the highway. |

Scan north and south. Look for truck sized "sand" among the car sized "sand". If you ever drove that stretch you'd know that it is entirely possible that it is a traffic jam. |

There are no sand drifts in that part of AZ. Though the humor in your comment is not lost on me. The 1-10 just south of the valley is notorious for it's traffic jams. |
