Description: The bridge you see is the Sunshine Skyway. This bridge tranverses the mouth of Tampa Bay. On the left side of the bridge you can see the old approach bridges for the original Skyway that was knocked down in 1980. These were converted to fishing piers after the new bridge was built and now are the longest fishing piers in Florida and maybe in the U.S. To the left, the large island you see is Ft. Desoto Park, consistantly rated at one of Americas top beaches
