The 24th Special Tactics Squadron is one of the four Special Tactics units of the United States Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC), and one of four highly secretive SMUs in the entire military, better known as a Tier-One unit.

A perimeter road outlines the training site. New construction is evident east and south of the present buildings.
