Description: Plant Crist is owned and operated by Gulf Power Company, a subsidiary of Southern Company. The plant has been in operation since 1945 when Crist 1, a 25 MW gas fired steam unit was placed in service shortly after the end of World War 2. The plant's primary fuels are coal, natural gas.
