Description: Cesar Chavez State Park ("Chavez Park") is located on a peninsula next to the Berkeley Marina in the San Francisco Bay and is part of the Eastshore State Park. Chavez Park has an excellent view of San Francisco, the Golden Gate Bridge, and Marin County. Mt. Tamalpais and the ubiquitous high elevation fog often frame the sun as it sets, which allows for particularly excellent sunsets.

Cesar Chavez Park, built on the site of a former landfill, offers a wide range of recreational opportunities in a marina setting with spectacular views of the three bay bridges, Alcatraz, and Angel Island.
