Description: WWII RAF bomber base, closed in the 50s. The airfield was taken over in the 1960s by the Fire Service Training College. The old runways have been covered by all kinds of fire simulation training scenarios including high-rise buildings, trains & tracks with station platforms, aircraft and even reconstructions of an offshore oil rig and a ship in dock.
