Description: Ryazan Aleksandrovo (also given as Alexandrovo and Protasovo) is an air base in Ryazan Oblast, Russia located 19 km southeast of Ryazan. It was probably an attack aircraft base during the Cold War. During the 1990s it housed Mi-8 and Mi-24 aircraft of the Russian Air Force. However it now seens to be vacated; no aircraft are seen.
