Just to the left is a rare Blackburn Buccaneer, one of the best low-altitude attack planes of the cold war. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blackburn_Buccaneer I wanted to submitt this myself a few weeks ago, but I still can't figure out how to get a Live Local URL using a Macintosh with Firefox. |

Thanks for the ID Gosell! I use the same MAC/Firefox combo you have. To capture my thumbnails, I use the "Grab" feature from my Applications menu and then convert to a Jpeg with Photoshop (after adjusting levels for a sharper image). To grab the Live Local Birds Eye URL, I first start in Birds Eye View and copy the "view permalink" URL in the "SHARE" menu. In this case: http://local.live.com/default.aspx?v=2&cp=sjs4v6h3bzj5&style=o&lvl=2&tilt=-90&dir=0&alt=-1000&scene=7613313 Next, I toggle to the "ROAD" view and this time only grab the coordinates between the "cp=" and "&style." In this case, "51.354409~1.346462." Lastly, I paste the numbered coordinates back into my original coded Birds Eye View URL between the "cp=" and "&style." Your final URL will look like this: http://local.live.com/default.aspx?v=2&cp=51.354409~1.346462&style=o&lvl=2&tilt=-90&dir=0&alt=-1000&scene=7613313 Kjfitz also has a nice tutorial on the subject in the "FORUMS" section. |
