I lived near here in Army housing and sledded down the hill many time! Wow they really cleaned the old tower up. And the junk yard that used to be next door to it. 1962-1966

Also hit the hill many times 1965-1968 . I have been inside many times as well. Hole in ceiling above door. Scarey to a 10 year old kid! Stairs around inside perimeter to observation area on top.

I live in the large housing at the bottom of the hill next to the big field. 1964 to 1967, once we watched two American kids try to ride their bikes down the path, both ended up in the wheat field at the bottom and the farmers were not happy. To get to school we would walk past the tall walls of the cemetery with an old German who hatted us American kids. We all sang "Hey hey get out of our way we just got in from the USA.

we lived in a two family house within walking (a long walk) to go to the hill. There was a guesthouse house in front of our apt. a lady by the name of Helga and her husband owned the restaurant. we could watch the people on the hill from our living room window. from there we moved into housing.

Live in Sullivan Heights housing and sledded down Bismark Hill many, many times and occasionally ended up in a ditch at the bottom of one portion of the hill. 1962 - 1965.
