Description: You can make out the grey scale chart used to adjust contrast of aerial cameras and the graduated scale. The largest marks are on the scale are 4m long. Look just south and you'll see large X marks which are exactly 1000 feet apart, also used for calibration.

Anonymous's picture Those x's indicate a colsed runway and have nothing to do with camera calibration. Read the Aeronautical Informatin Manual.
