David Letterman's House (former)

According to movielanddirectory.com, the comedian, late night talk show host, television producer, philanthropist, and IRL IndyCar Series car owner lived here part-time back in the 1990's. The LA County Assessor has the last transaction on the property back in 1987. However, I cannot confirm if he still lives here or not. Anyone?

I have been recently been told that this is the long-time home of comedienne Merrill Markoe, who dated Letterman back in the 1980's, and probably why this address has been scattered around the internet for years as his house.
