Description: 'Roundwood Manor' which was build in 1924 was the home of O.P. & M.J. Van Sweringen. The home was built in 1924 and is one of Ohio's most famous properties.. Oris Paxton (24 April 1879–November 22, 1936, heart attack) and Mantis James (July 8, 1881–December 12, 1935) Van Sweringen were brothers who became railroad barons in order to develop Shaker Heights, Ohio.
