Description: Cheney Reservoir has weird texture to it. Almost looks like it's been cracked, but there also appears to be waves. (?) Comments or info appreciated

TexasAndroid's picture This one is borderline, but I'm inclined to leave it. The first submission was a wide view of the time differential. Half frozen/Half unfrozen.

The second is a close up focus on the "cracks" in the frozen side.

So they're focusing on different aspects of the situation on the lake. I'm inclined to leave them both.

Blue_Scapegoat's picture I just thought it was weird cause that's what ice looks like when you're looking at it from 6 ft, not from outer-freakin-space. The cracks are huge.

romulusnr's picture Ice cracks on the large scale, too. Besides, nature is just a big fractal anyway.

Note that one big crack leading from the east promontory has apparently re-frozen over.
