not main gate. This would be the "Log Center" Logistics Center Gate, now behind a residential development for more troops.

Main Gate has always been where it is now, just that it used to go through a little to the right (as you enter) from it's current location.

Nope, it's the original main gate.

This is the Logistics Gate. The original main gate was at what is now North Fort, Fort Lewis. It was moved piece by piece to its current location in the 1970s or 1980s.
