Dolores Del Rio mural

Dolores Del Rio mural (StreetView)
Born Dolores Martínez Asúnsolo y López Negrete in 1905, Dolores Del Rio was one of Hollywood's first Latina stars. After starring in over 30 movies in the 1920's and 30's, she launched a second career in the 40's when she returned to her native Mexico and became one of that country's biggest superstars.
The mural, on the east wall of the building, facing Hudson Ave., includes scenes from several of her films, as well as the titles of her many hit movies

One observation about Dolores Del Río's name of origin :
She was born Dolores Asúnsolo y López Negrete.
As per the Spanish naming usage, Asúnsolo was her father's proletarian family name, and López Negrete her mothe's aristocratic family name
Very young when she married for the first time she added her husband's more aristocratic name Martínez del Río y Viñent. Lower case d in 'del'.
And as we all know her artistic name was changed to Dolores Del Río. Capital D in Del, that's the way she signed it.
I did the proper research before painting the mural.
